About Plan & Multiply
Plan & Multiply (technical name: Plan & Multiply) is a family budget management app available on iOS and Android. It uses the envelope budgeting method: every dollar of income is assigned to a spending envelope, making the budget visual and intuitive.
The app stands out through three deliberate choices:
- No bank connection — no banking credentials or aggregator required. Budget data stays on the device by default; optional Premium cloud features are documented separately.
- Serenity Score — an internal 0-100 budget indicator built from four signals. It is not a credit score, diagnosis or measure of overall financial health.
- Couple budgeting — share your budget via QR code without sharing bank access. Invitation and read-only access are free; Premium adds two-way sync, automatic settlement and shared savings jars.
The app primarily targets women aged 25-45 and families seeking a kind approach to budget management — no guilt, no financial jargon.
